They were extremely careful with my furniture, nothing was broken or mishandled. The price I was quoted vs. the price I paid was almost half due to the fact that they worked so hard and diligently. Each of the four was very professional and careful with our boxes and furniture and they worked very hard in hot conditions for loading and rain at the destination. “If I could give these guys 10 stars, I definitely would! And I HIGHLY recommend them. Especially since I know how much more trouble the alternative choice can be.

I first called them 3 years ago when my husband and I were moving out of state. The woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly helpful and nice. I had wanted to err on the side of the moving company to take longer in delivering, since I was traveling with my husband in our Winnebago and we were planning on “leisurely” driving to our new home. Fatboy Slims was like clockwork, telling me of their schedule which gets them to their destination efficiently. You would normally want this, but again, were were having to take our time traveling back, so I ended up going with another company because it would take this other company about a week+ in traveling. Fatboy Slims’ Operations Manager then called me to check in. She informed me of how many other moving companies operate: that they are print brokers, you don’t know the actual company that will be moving you until after you give the broker your money, your items will be put in a storage room with others after pickup, and then will be moved to a much bigger truck with other people’s items, then moved to a smaller truck when they are in your town, each time incurring more money because, of course, the initial print broker gave you a much lower bid than what the actual moving company will charge. Oh, and there will be many delays. She told me to call her if I had any questions. Needless to say, it was a headache to deal with the other company and it played out as she said. But just thankful we finally got our belongings from that other moving company in the end.

Fast forward 3 years and we decided to move back to our home state. Everything was a blur and it needed to happen quickly. I called up Fatboy Slims and decided to go with them this time. So happy I did. From the woman that took our call, to Michael who was able to come to our place and do a walkthrough and answered all of my questions, to Virgil and Monroe who moved our items with such care and consideration, EVERYTHING was great. They communicated with us prior to moving day, Michael gave me packing tips, and Virgil and Monroe came with blankets to wrap all my furniture with care. They also texted with us throughout the trip since we were also driving to our home at the same time. Everything was moved in perfectly at the time/day they had told us, no surprises.
